See and experience for yourself the very sites of the churches addressed by Jesus. Walk the marble streets of Ephesus where Paul preached and God worked extraordinary miracles. Stand where John wrote the book of Revelation. Visit the famous hot springs at Heiropolis, and discover the deeper meaning of “lukewarm” as you walk the ground of ancient Laodicea.

 

Sample Tour Schedule

Day One:
Depart U.S. from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.
Day Two:
Groups from different countries will arrive in Istanbul (map link). Those who arrive early will be able to enjoy some free time on the streets of Istanbul. Dinner at the hotel with Rick and Denise. Each night Pastor Rick will teach us about the city we will see the next day.
Day Three:

Istanbul excursion visiting places of interest and shopping opportunities at the Grand Bazaar.

Places to see in Istanbul:

  • The Hagia Sophia
  • The Blue Mosque
  • The Grand Bazaar
  • The Hippodrome
    • Day Four:
    Tour Thyatira. Travel to the coastal city of Izmir (ancient Smyrna) nestled on the beautiful blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Dinner and teaching session with Rick Renner.

    Day Five:

    Excursion to Ephesus including the Ephesus Museum, ancient city of Ephesus, John’s tomb, and Mary’s house. Dinner and teaching session with Rick Renner.

    Day Six:

    Tour Pergamum (see the Asklepion) and the ancient city of Smyrna. Dinner and teaching session with Rick Renner.

    Day Seven:

    Tour Sardis and Philadelphia. Check into the hotel in Pamukkale.

    Day Eight:

    Visit the ancient cities of Laodicea and Hierapolis. Opportunity to swim* in the warm mineral water of an ancient pool referred to as “Cleopatra’s Pool" or the "Sacred Pool.”

    *Price not included in tour package to allow for individual choice.

    Day Nine:

    Return to Istanbul. Group dinner and Communion.

    Day Ten:

    Depart for home.
